Azerbaijan's posts 36.6% industrial growth

The industrial growth was 47.1% in oil production, 84.5% in rubber and plastic production, 2.5 times in engineering, 47.4% in logging, 10.1% in foodstuff production and 66.4% in non-metal minerals, 25.3% in electronics and optic devices making.

Oil and gas output grew 44.7%, year-on-year, to AZN 13.7 million tons and 2.9 billion cubic meters respectively. Services shared 5.8% of the total production.

The proportion of state sector was 22.4% in the industrial production, APA reports.

168,300 people were employed by industrial enterprises during this period, up 5.3% from a year earlier.

Average monthly wages of temporary workers rose 23.8% to AZN 312.2, in mining industry went up 23.6% to AZN 754.4, in processing industry climbed 22.8% to AZN 163.7, in production and distribution of electricity, gas and water jumped 43.1% to AZN 191.5.
