Consumer goods sales jump 14% in Azerbaijan, Jan-Apr

In Azerbaijan consumer goods sales rose to AZN 2.3 billion during January-April, up 14.2% from the same period last year.

The State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that consumption goods included foodstuffs worth AZN 1.5122 billion and non-foods worth AZN 821.4 million and the sales grew 11.3% and 20.4%, year-on-year, in January and April respectively.

Payable services received by the population rose 33.5% to AZN 623.2 million of which 74.9% were produced by legal entities and 25.1% by individuals.
