Pension card validity to be extended to 5 years

The International Bank of Azerbaijan has delivered 3,000 bank cards to the State Social Protection Fund to circulate to pensioners.

The bank board chair Jahangir Hajiyev said the validity time of pension cards has been extended to 5 years compared to 3 years previously.

He added that the bank has 537 ATMs and 1,255 POS terminals throughout the country.

The bank issued 120,000 pension cards and 20,000 social security cards in 2006. APA-Economics
