First metrological lab to be established in Baku in summer

The first metrological test laboratory will be established in Baku in three months, said Ramiz Hasanov, Chairman of Azerbaijan State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

"We are working on establishing some labs. We intend to install the state-of-the-art devices and appliances in the labs," he added.

He noted that the agency is working on the project to establish a Reference Standard Center in Baku.

"We have purchased 9 standards from the Unites States and European countries last year. We want to gradually apply recognized standards in Azerbaijan," he said. APA-Economics
