Baku's new general plan is to be worked out

"The head of state ordered to work out a new general plan of Baku. This work is to be carried out by professionals. But this issue can not be solved soon. It will take some years," said Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov.

Sharifov said they applied to the World Bank to include the working out of general plan of Baku on the project of financing reconstruction of water and sewerage systems of 22 regions (Minghachevir, Shamkir, Guba, Gazakh, Zagatala and etc) of Azerbaijan.

According to him the issue has also been agreed, and it is to be signed in two months. A loan agreement with World Bank is to be concluded in the middle of this year. APA
