AzAL Sighorta's premiums collection falls 20%, y-o-y

AzAL Sighorta Insurance Company collected AZN 3,481,372 in premiums during the first quarter of 2007, down 19.8% from the same period last year.

The insurer didn't pay any amount for insurance claims during January-March, while it paid AZN 8,383,333 in that period last year, the insurer's press service told APA-Economics.

AzAL Sighorta was established by Azerbaijan Airlines (AzAL) in 1995. As of January 1, the company's authorized capital stood at AZN 8,000,000. AzAL Sighorta provides 12 voluntary and 2 compulsory insurance services.
