Azerbaijan Marketing Society works out Azerbaijan Exports Catalogue

Azerbaijan Marketing Society told APA-Economics that products of some Azerbaijani companies are capable of competing with foreign goods in their type, but foreign consumers and business representatives lack information about the quality of products made in Azerbaijan.

"It is needless to say how important to promote and deliver presentations of Azeri goods in the period of progressing accession to the World Trade Organization," AMS press service said.

To address this issue, AMS has established a project to develop Azerbaijan Exports Catalogue.

The country's embassies, trade offices, and business companies have studied the prospects of circulating the Catalogue.

The project is also aimed at delivering presentations in forums, local and international conferences, exhibitions and other events.

The project is supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Eurasia Foundation while it is intended to involve state agencies, local public institutions and other organizations.
