Trainings are held for specialists of Tariff Council and energy sector

National Association of Regularity Utility Commissioners (NARUC) has organized trainings founded by US Agency for International Developments (USAID) for the specialists of Azerbaijan's Tariff Council and energy sector on tariff facilities, principles and methods of setting prices.

Opening the trainings, chairman of Tariff Council Elshan Asadov noted that the regulation of prices in Azerbaijan is important and necessary.

"I believe these trainings will useful and efficient in activity of Tariff Council and regulation of prices," he said.

USAID Coordinator to Azerbaijan Scot Tailer stated that this kind of events is of great importance in the country with macroeconomic stability. According to Tailer, experts from Hungary and some other European countries will attend the trainings at the invitation of NARUC organization.

Generally, the experience of Hungary, USA, Turkey and some European countries will be applied in the trainings.

The implementation of the project of NARUC organization has started since the visit of three international specialists from USA and Romania in March, 2004, APA-Economics reports.
