Azerbaijan generates 1.9 billion KW-h electricity

During April, Azerbaijan produced 1.9 billion kilowatts-hour of electricity, of which 1.7 billion kilowatts-hour generated by thermal power stations and the rest by hydropower stations.

Besides, Azerbaijan imported electricity from the neighboring countries, of which 4.6 million KW-h came from Russia, 5.9 million KW-h from Iran, and 6.9 million KW-h from Georgia.

The country generated about 8.5 billion KW-h of electricity during the period of January-April, of which 7.7 billion KW-h in thermal power plants. APA-Economics
