WB, CIT Ministry Grants Program prolonged to May 15

Grants Program under "Information society - the new stage of development" slogan within the agreement between the World Bank and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan has been prolonged to May 15 while the deadline was late April.

World Bank Small Grants Program in Azerbaijan started in 2000 and since that a total amount of $240, 000 was granted to 53 organizations.

This is a first time in Azerbaijan when an International Organization and the Government Institution is jointly implementing a grant program for civil society organizations.

The total amount of the program is $49,000 of which 70% is provided by the World Bank. APA-Economics
