Workshop on Alternative Inflation Methodology Development held in Ganja

The ERC Chairman Gubad Ibadoghlu said the workshop is aimed to informing the public of assessing the current inflation calculation methodology, determining the most appropriate methods of core inflation calculation for Azerbaijan, developing alternative inflation calculation methods and the regional researches.

On February 15, the event brought together representatives from enterprises, banks, insurers and public unions operating in Ganja.

The ERC delivered a presentation of the Alternative Inflation Methodology Development Project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Baku.

The framework of the project also focuses on statistical observation of prices in the country. APA-Economics
