The bank told APA-Economics that customers mostly used Contact and Bistraya Pochta transfer systems and remitted $2.2 million and $3.2 million via these systems respectively. Utilities fees worth AZN 3.83 million were paid via the bank during the first quarter, up 8.6 times from the same period last year.
Azerdemiryolbank announced an April 1-to-August 31 lottery for customers who pay utilities fees through its branches. The bank has 29 branches and offices throughout the country.
