Azerbaijan and Iran to discuss North-South Transport Corridor

Baku will host the meeting of Azerbaijani and Iranian experts of railway administrations on North-South Transport Corridor in mid May.

Transport Ministry told that the meeting will cover discussions on acceleration of measures done in the frame of transport corridor, construction of bridge on the Astara River in Iran borders, APA reports.

The situation of works on North-South Transport Corridor will be discussed during Iran's Transport Minister Mahammad Rehmeti's visit to Baku in the second ten-day of May.

In 2005 Azerbaijan joined to North-South Transport Corridor, the establishment of which was initiated by Russia and India.
