Trial on case of Barmek officials fixed to April 30

Preliminary court proceeding on case of president of Barmek-Azerbaijan Electricity Distribution LLC Huseyn Arabul and seven more company officials, who are accused of abuse of power, embezzlement and negligence of court judgements, continues.

Abbas Atakishi, lawyer for Huseyn Arabul petitioned for dropping the criminal case launched on his defendant. Zaur Nifteliyev, lawyer for Vefa Agayev asked to end or reconsider the accusation on embezzlement as it has not been proved. The court dismissed the petitions. Following this, public prosecutor petitioned for appointing court survey, the petition was granted. The court survey was fixed to April 30. APA
