Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov said the three-year project costs between $50 million and $55 million, APA-Economics reports.
The company representatives visited Baku in January and February to study the prospects of establishment of the network.
The system will enable to centralize traffic in Baku by sending data through special radio and television frequencies.
People will be able to get information about traffic jams and traffic scheme through mobile phones. The system will also coordinate the relevant bodies of Azerbaijan.
