Draft bill on Financial Controls developed in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani Accounting Chamber and Finance Ministry have developed draft bill on Financial Controls, Deputy Chairman of the chamber Abbas Allahverdiyev said on Tuesday during the discussions of 2006 Report of the AAC in Parliament.

The principles of International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) declaration on Principles of Control Management has been used while developing the draft bill, APA reports.

Mr. Allahverdiyev noted that non-existence of the mechanisms of budgetary transfers, diversity of administrative and financial management systems, government's inefficient internal controls, and some issues caused problems to the activity of the chamber.
