Krimbek Kusharbayev, governor of Mangistau province of Kazakhstan said that the decision about it will be made next month in Astana.
He underlined that Kazakhstan's banks are keen in penetration to Azerbaijan's financial market.
"These banks want to open their branches in Azerbaijan. I hope Azerbaijani banks will also open their branches in Kazakhstan," he said.
Commenting on the construction of fruit and vegetable terminal in Mangistau, Krimbek Kusharbayev said the decision about it was made in April last year.
"Mangistau governorship has allotted 5 hectares of area for the construction of fruit and vegetable terminal. Azerbaijan's company Universal Kazakhstan won the tender on the construction. But the company delayed the construction and we appealed to Azerbaijani government for help. Russian and Iranian business circles show interest in his project," he said.
