Some government agencies document procured goods and services at exaggerate prices

Some government agencies of Azerbaijan document the procured services and goods at a false exaggerated price, much more than the market prices, MP Jamil Hasanli told a parliament session on April 17.

"The false prices are most used in construction. The market price of construction armature is between $800 and $850 per ton while it is documented at $1,200 to take more from the government," he claimed.

He accused Baku Mayor's office of wasting the state funds, saying the highways are reconstructed at low quality every year. He claimed that they take plenty of money from the state budget in these ways.
