Azerbaijan to purchase nearly 40 locomotives in 3 years

Azerbaijani State Railway (ASR) plans to purchase nearly 40 locomotives in near three years in the frame of 2007-2010 Development Program of ASR.

Transport Ministry told APA-Economics that ASR negotiates with World Bank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance the process.
 
A part of locomotives are planed to purchase on the expense of ASR and other part by means of investment allocated from the state budget.
