Azerbaijan implements project on expansion of transparency initiatives in municipal budgets

The representatives of EU Agency of International Development (USAID), Eurasian Fund (EF) and some other local NGOs attended the conference.

Chairman of ERC Gubad Ibadoglu said that the project has been implemented in the municipalities of central Aran regions, Terter, Barda and Geranboy. The project aimed at ensuring transparency in municipal budgets, accounting and audit, improvement of stock asset base.

USAID and EF have granted $24 000 for implementation of the project, APA-Economics reports.
