Consumer goods and services sales jump 18.5% in Azerbaijan, Jan-Feb

In Azerbaijan consumer goods and services bought by population during January and February totaled AZN 1,421.3 million, 18.5% higher than a year earlier.

The State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that the rise came 62.3% from the commodity circulation growth. Retail goods sales and payable services rose 78.5% and 21.5% respectively.

The private sector shared 92.2% of the goods and services sales and sold goods and services worth AZN 1,343.6 million to population, 17.9% more than the same period last year.
