Average salary rises 25.4% in Azerbaijan, Jan-Feb

The average monthly salary stood at AZN 161.4 during January and February, 25.4% higher than a year earlier.

The State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that the highest salary was earned in mining industry, finance, real estate and leasing sectors.

By a presidential decree the minimum salary was set at AZN 50 from February 1. And other presidential decrees in January to raise salary of people employed in various sectors improved financial position of population.
