Sidorsky agreed on oil mining in Azerbaijan

Belarusian companies got the permission for oil mining in Azerbaijan, a corresponding agreement was signed by the Prime Ministers of Belarus and Azerbaijan Syargey Sidorsky and Artur Rasizade in Baku on Thursday.

"Belarusian companies got the permission for oil mining in Azerbaijan. The state oil company of Azerbaijan and Belarusnafta are going to submit the agreed plan of actions on oil mining in the near future," leader of the Belarusian government declared to the journalists at the airport when commenting on the outcomes of his visit on Thursday.

According to the Prime Minister 5 oil fields have been offered to the Belarusian party. Prime Minister also reported that the state oil company of Azerbaijan got the permission to enter the Belarusian market as the operator. "The oil coming from Azerbaijan will be refined at the Belarusian oil refineries and then exported," Sidorsky said.

According to him, oil is to be transported by railway to the nearest seaport.
