Energy price hike and intensive metering process-incentives to save electricity consumption in Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan, waste of electricity has been minimized after the energy prices rise in January and acceleration of metering process. Electrical power consumption fell between 20% and 25% in regions.

Azerenergy Vice-President Marlen Asgarov said the measures prevented abuse of electricity throughout the republic. APA-Economics
