Turkmen gas may bypass Russia

A delegation from the consortium MottMcDonald Ltd (UK), Kantor Management Consultants (Greece), KLC Law Firm (Greece) and ASPI Consulting Engineers (Azerbaijan) have visited Turkmen capital Ashgabat.

The consortium has a contract with the European Commission linked with the INOGATE programme (Interstate Oil and Gas Transport to Europe).

The programme aims to improve the security and integration of the natural gas pipeline network in the states of the former Soviet Union, facilitating the transport of oil and gas towards the export markets of Europe.
