Emergencies Ministry sends building materials to windstorm-hit regions

Emergencies Ministry sent the fifth part of building materials to Balaken, Sheki, Gakh, Oguz, Gebele, Ismayilli and Gusar regions to remove the results of windstorm on the night of February 24-25.

The Ministry sent 8,000 slates, 3,000 square meters window-glass, and 80 cubic meters boards to these regions.

Deputy Emergencies Minister Orujeli Hajiyev said that the commissions composed of Ministry's specialists are assessing the damage of the wind, APA reports.

The Deputy Minister also noted that they will pay compensation to the individual houses damaged during the strong wind.

"We are about to finish assessing the damage of individual houses," he said.
