WB education mission visits Azerbaijan

WB Office in Baku informs that the bank's expert or education Rosita Van Meel leads the mission to Azerbaijan.

The delegation will have discussion over current and future cooperation during the visit to last until March 20.The World Bank has financed Education Sector Development Project since 2003. The main objective of the project is to increase learning achievements for all students to meet the needs of a market economy and improve the efficiency of general education.

The Program comprises a broad spectrum of activities, which promotes the objectives of improved educational quality, equity in access to education, and the efficient use of available resources in the education sector. The IDP EDS Project has a maturity of 35 years, including a ten-year grace period, APA reports.
