Azerbaijan gets 3G frequencies

Azerbaijan's Communications and Information Technologies Ministry has acquired third-generation (3G) technology frequencies.

Minister Ali Abbasov said the frequencies will be put into a tender, the APA reports.

"We hope Bakcell, Azercell and Azerfon will show interest in bidding," he said.
