Azeri banks' deposit portfolio amounts to AZN 2 129.2mln

The National Bank of Azerbaijan told the APA that AZN 826.4mln or 38.8% of the portfolio were made in national currency and AZN 1 302.8mln or 61.2% in foreign currencies.

The average interest rate for deposits and savings in national currency were 10.39% annually (8.40% for legal entities and 11.76% for individuals), the average rate for foreign currencies made 11.58% annually (8.50%, 11.75%).

The interest rate for loans lent by banks in national currency constituted 16.50% annually (14.89%, 20.10%), in foreign currencies 17.17% annually (14.81%, 21.82%).

The average interest rate for interbank credits in national currency was 17.23% annually and 13.56% annually.
