Electronic war likely to harm Armenia more, ICT Minister says

"The electronic war between Azerbaijan and Armenia appears undesirable. Azerbaijan enjoys much more technical and financial potential (levers), so this hostility is likely to harm Armenia more," Azerbaijan's Information and Technologies Minister, Ali Abbasov, stated.

He said that the only solution to the problem is that Azerbaijan and Armenia should join Convention on cyber-crime and honor this agreement.

Recommending both Armenian and Azerbaijani hackers to avoid attacking websites, the Minister said Azerbaijan has a legal base to ensure security of its websites.

As per the Information Law, Internet providers are responsible for defense of websites, APA reports.
