RAO UES to invest $ 400 million in Turkey

Russian Energy Company Inter Rao Ues has established a new company called Gonen 1 in order to make its first investment in Turkey. Planning to establish a 400 million dollar thermal power plant in Balikesir, Inter Rao Ues has also received a license for prospecting activities in the same area.

Stating that Inter Rao is the majority shareholder of Gonen 1, Inter Rao Ues's Turkish partner, General Coordinator of TGR Energy Co. in Ankara Ibrahim Artvinli  said 300 million dollars for the thermal power plant investment will be given by Inter Rao. Sabah
