Hike in energy prices not to affect State Budget, Azeri Finance Ministry says

No amendments are planed to make to the 2007 State Budget after the hike in energy prices in the country.

"We don't expect any changes to the State Budget. The Government is discussing the issues on subsidizing some sectors after the price rise," Deputy Minister of Finance, Azer Bayramov, told the APA.

He doesn't rule out that additional subsidies will be allocated to the agriculture and transport sectors.
