State Labor Inspection to check construction firms and wedding places

State Labor Inspection will begin inspections in construction firms and wedding places to study the working conditions and state of security.

State labor Inspection chief Nabi Shukurlu told the APA that the inspections would be made according to the schedule made up by State Labor Inspection.

Shukurlu said that rules of labor security were usually not observed in construction firms and it causes deaths. He said that measures will be taken depending on the results of the inspections.

"Special directions will be given to remove negative cases, and they will be given 15 days or a month to remove these shortcomings. If they do not remove these shortcomings, we will even raise the question of suspending their activity," he said

Nabi Shukurlu said that inspections would also be made in wedding places. The main aim of the inspections is to learn if wedding places have signed labor contracts with the employees.

He added that strict measures will be taken against the enterprises not signing labor contracts.

He said that Ministry of Labor and Social Defense of Population plans to take additional measures to create conditions for labor inspections' activity.
