29 December 2006 [16:03] - TODAY.AZ
The Government of Azerbaijan intends to set up a state-controlled company for imports in order to ensure food security in the country.

Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev said that the company will regulate the market, APA reports.

"It will influentially intervene with the market by importing goods at law prices in case of unexpected hike. We have made some proposals on this issue," he underlined.
