Schengen states to raise Schengen visa due by ?60 from 1 Jan 2007

Schengen states will increase due for Schengen visa (stay for 90 days) by ?60 from 1 January 2007, according to the decision of the European Union made 1 January 2006.

The decision was made because last Schengen visa due (?35) did not cover the cost of application processing. This prize is suitable in contrast with the cost of application processing in other states.

The embassies of Germany, France, Italy, Norway and Greece represent Schengen states in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
