Azeri energy system on the alert during holidays

The energy system will be put on the alert during Sacrifice Holiday, Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis, and New Year.

The electricity supply to the customers, who didn't pay the bills, will be cut off at 14:00, Dec. 26.

Azerenergy Vice-President Marlen Asgarov told that they will be on the red alert during this period as well, APA reports.

"We produce as 400 megawatts much as the same period last year. The power will be strengthened because the grid is overloaded on holidays," he said.
