Information about explosive in Bank Respublika false

There was a phone call to the main office of Bank Respublika warning of explosive planted there, Chingiz Bagirov, Sebayel district Police Office Department chief told.

He said that the police arrived at the site soon after the phone call. Officers of the Emergencies Ministry, fire-engines and ambulances came to the site. Deputy Ministers of Emergencies Rafael Mirzayev and Faig Tagizadeh also came there.

All the officers of the bank were evacuated and the building was searched. The chief of the security service of Bank Respublika told journalists that they check the officers' readiness to emergencies situation.

Emergencies Ministry Civil Defense Troops department chief Colonel Kamil Bagirov told journalists that a man called to Bank Respublika at 15.00. The person said that explosive was planted in one the rooms of the bank.

Specially trained dogs and installations were brought to the site. After searching for two hours the phone call was determined to be false.

Kamil Bagirov said the bank is continuing its work and law enforcement bodies try to identify the caller, APA reports.
