Kars-Igdir-Nakhchivan railway route to be set

"Activities for realization of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line have continued to progress and the current works are satisfactory," Transportation Minister Ziya Mammadov said.

He said Azerbaijan uses all resources for implementation of this regional project, APA reports.

Ziya Mammadov said that construction of Kars-Igdir-Nakhchivan railway line can also be considered in the nearest future. This route is believed to enhance access of Nakhchivan AR to Turkey.
