Baku hosts Macroeconomic Regulation in Oil Boom Training

According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Asian Development Bank and the Azerbaijan in the framework of the project "Technical assistance for potential strengthening of economic development of Azerbaijan," an international training on Macroeconomic regulation during Oil Boom has started in the Center of Economic Reforms.

Project Director Elvin Afandiyev told APA that the project costs $750 000, of which $600 00 by the ADB and $150 000 by the Government of Azerbaijan.

Started since March, 2006 the two-year project is providing trainings for members of Economic Modeling Group of Economic Development, Finance, Taxes, Labour and Social Protection of Population, Defense Ministries, State Oil Fund, National Bank Center of Economic Reforms and etc.

Two consulting organizations - Eco Mod and London Business University have been involved in the trainings.
