Standard Insurance increases premium collection by 2.3 times

Standard Insurance increased the total volume of premiums by 2.3 times, year-over-year, in January-September, to AZN 6 514 000.

The Company head office told APA that Standard Insurance has topped voluntary insurance market for two years in the country, increasing premiums to AZN 2 507 000.

Besides, during this period the medical insurance premiums rose by 3.6 times to AZN 500 000.

The amount of premiums from cargo transportation insurance made up AZN 233 000 (2.8 times rise), property insurance AZN 2 183 000 (2.3 times), liability insurance AZN 289 000 (92%), accident insurance AZN 57 000 (93%), others AZN 604 000 (2.7 times).

3.5% of the insurance premiums were collected from compulsory insurance.

During the three quarter of the year the insurance payment was AZN 1 076 000.

The Company's profit reached AZN 1 034 000. Its nominal capital doubled to AZN 4m.

Standard Insurance is among the three national insurance companies according to its indicators.
