Bank Standard signs agreement with Azauto and Itochu

The Bank’s head office told APA that Isuzu has become a financial partner to Azauto, a truck importer of Azerbaijan, in international commercial operations.

As per the agreement the Japanese Corporation will accept Bank Standard's guarantee without intermediation of any prime foreign banks.

Itochu Baku Office General Manager Toshihiro Sugiura expressed his satisfaction with the activities of Azauto as a trusted importer.

Azauto representatives said that the imports are high-quality, adding that the volume of Isuzu imports to Azerbaijan has already reached the volume exported to Russia and Ukraine.

Bank Standard Management Board deputy chairman Javid Guliyev highly appreciated the cooperation, saying direct acceptance of the Bank's guarantee by Itochu Corporation is a milestone in Azeri finance market.
