Insurers' conference to be conducted Nov. 28.

The Finance Ministry's Insurance Supervision Department's representatives will take part in the conference too. The conference will approve the new association's Charter and decide about its legal registration.

The Insurance Supervision Department's Chief, Namig Khalilov believes the amalgamation will help to improve Azerbaijan's insurance market, conduct insurance education, struggle against fraud, arrange international conferences, etc.

Two insurance associations have operated in Azerbaijan so far, one including 20 and the other one including 5 companies. They are mostly inactive now, because the insurers are not that interested in them. Turan
