Babayev meets Belarussian Deputy Minister of Industry

Heydar Babayev said Azerbaijan is keen to strengthen bilateral ties with Belarus.

He noted there was a potential for expansion of trade between the two countries.

Azeri Minister stressed his country is ready to cooperate with Belarus in the field of mechanical engineering.

Valentin Gurinovich noted during his trip he managed to visit three engineering plants in Azerbaijan including the Ganja Automobile Plant, which he said is the most suitable for production of tractors, automobiles and buses.

"If Azerbaijan's government approves of our proposal, we are ready to start production in Ganja," the Belarussian diplomat said. AzerTAg
