He told APA that Georgia mostly imports liquefied gas from Azerbaijan. "Azerbaijan reduced LPG supplies to Georgia as it is selling autogas to Europe through Georgian ports. Our companies are negotiating with Turkmenistan on LPG imports. But Turkmen autogas prices are as $150-$180 per cubic meters much as Azeri imports. Georgia's annual demand for LPG is 2 000-2 500 metric tons. We requested the Government of Georgia to negotiate with Azerbaijan to increase autogas imports," he said.
Vano Mtvralashvili thinks it is uncertain how Georgia will be supplied with autogas in winter.
"It is a very urgent problem. We don't know how Georgia will be provided with LPG in upcoming winter," he underscored.
