Mikayil Jabbarov: "Barmek's arbitration claims against Government to fail"

"Hand-over test of Barmek is ongoing. The Government has control over the process. As to investment to the electricity companies after Barmek hands over all authority, the perspectives will be investigated, and investment might be attracted," Deputy Minister of Economic Development Mikayil Jabbarov told reporters.

As to the Barmek's arbitration claims against Government with the Washington-based ICSID, Jabbarov said such claims have never been in favour of the claimant.

"Barmek's claim won't be an exception," he said.
