07 November 2006 [15:33] - TODAY.AZ
"Barmek-Azerbaijan and Bakielectricshebeke OJSC signed a hand-over agreement on Monday. Hand-over test of all substations will be concluded and an agreement on accounting will be signed shortly," Barmek President Huseyn Arabul stated.

He said an agreement will also be concluded with Sumgaitelectricshebeke OJSC, APA reports.

"Ernst&Young will complete the audit, and the problem will be solved in the International Center for Settlement of the Investment Disputes unless we reach any agreement," he added.

Huseyn Arabul says he will leave Azerbaijan after all agreements are concluded.

"I will live in Turkey, but I will visit Baku once or twice a month. We have Information and Technologies System in Baku. This system will contribute to the implementation of projects in Baku. We will qualify computer engineers and I will take the talented ones to Turkey," he said.

He also said he will publicize the names of governmental officials who owe Barmek after the Barmek officials are released from jail.

He said ICSID will attach judges for consideration of the problem soon.
"I don't believe Azerbaijani courts, I appealed to the ICSID," he said.

Arabul said that he has proposals on energy system and improvement of the logistics; he wants to submit his proposals to the President of Azerbaijan.

"I want to meet with President Ilham Aliyev. I will express my opinions to him if he receives me," he said.
