Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation suggests reducing VAT to 14% and profits tax to 18%

The suggestions will be applied to next year state budget. They include tax control, tax examinations, arrest on accounts of tax payers and reduction of VAT and profit tax.

"We plan to reduce profit tax from 22% to 18-20%. It will increase the number of tax payers. The other suggestion is to reduce VAT from 18% to 14%," Alekber Mammadov, AEC president told the APA.

He also said that AEC thought tax examinations with time-keeping method could damage to the entrepreneurs and that is why suggested to make some changes.
