Wartsila wins power plant order from AzerEnerji

Wartsila said it has won an order to supply Azerbaijan's AzerEnerji with a 300 MW multi-fuel power plant.

The value of the deal, expected to be finalised before the end of the month, was not disclosed.

The plant is to be located in Sangachal, some 50 km south of the capital Baku.

Wartsila has already delivered two power plants to AzerEnerji and will supply a further three before the end of this year, as part of a separate order from the company. AFX
