Tariff Council not to discuss subway fee

Tariff Council will not discuss subway fee this year, Heydar Babayev, Azerbaijan Economic Development Minister and Tariff Council chief told journalists at the press conference.

He said that people with low standard of living use subway transport, APA reports.

"The Council will discuss subway fee after monitoring next year. The government sponsors subway in Azerbaijan. Collected money is enough neither for new equipment, nor for paying salaries of the workers," he said.

Babayev also said that the Council will has already made decision about medical tariffs.
