Georgia and Iran negotiate gas supply issues

Nika Gilauri, Georgian Minister of Energy, will leave for Teheran on October 21 to negotiate gas import from Iran.

Nika Gilauri was on a visit to Baku on October 10-12 where he negotiated importing of the gas from the Shah Deniz gas reserves through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline.

Natig Aliyev, Azeri Minister of Energy and Industry stated to journalists after the meeting that Azerbaijan is ready to play a transit role in case negotiations on import of Iranian gas to Georgia are successful. Georgian Times
